A dedicated photo session in the Harajuku area. Our photographer captures your best moments in kimono — all photos delivered digitally on the same day.

Yes. For wedding and reception guests, we have dedicated houmongi rental plans from ¥11,980, including dressing and simple hair styling. For prices and booking, see our houmongi rental site (houmongi.shibui-jp.com/en/). If you would like to wear a houmongi for sightseeing or photos, you can choose one with our regular kimono rental for an additional ¥10,000. Both are available from October through May only (not available June to September).

Yes. Our shop is a 3-minute walk from Meiji Jingu (Harajuku entrance) and a 6-minute walk from Togo Shrine (Togo Kinenkan), so you can walk to the venue after dressing and hair styling. We keep your clothes and belongings until you return. Houmongi rental for wedding guests (polyester ¥11,980, silk ¥15,980, dressing for your own houmongi ¥7,980) can be booked on our houmongi rental site.

Yes. Next-day return is available with an additional fee (¥3,000).

Services

Yes. We welcome groups of up to 20 guests, including international school groups and tour parties. Group discounts are available — please contact us in advance.

No. The kimono rental fee and photo session fee are charged separately.

We do not offer makeup services. Hair arrangement is available as an add-on (¥3,000), but please come with your makeup already done.

Yes, walk-ins are welcome. However, if we have a reservation at that time, we may ask you to come at a different time.

Kimonos are worn tightly, so we do not recommend this service for pregnant women.

Payment & Purchase

Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover.

After repeated no-shows on some reservations, we now ask for a card when you book online. If you arrive as booked, your card won't be charged, and we won't use it to pay for your rental. Your card details are encrypted and protected by Square. If your plans change, please contact us as soon as you know. You can cancel for free up to 12 hours before your reservation.
